Family Time

This category is about family time adventures and everyday family life.  These blog posts will be about anything and everything that happens in normal day to day activities.

Some topics include things like family vacations.  Lots of information about Disney complete with planning tips and learning experiences.

I also write about my issues with Anxiety and OCD and how to deal with and overcome some of these obstacles.

Another topic includes things I love.  I want to share these in hopes of engaging in open conversations to learn about what you love too.

There will be lots more as I learn and grow with this blog.

I had so many questions about it being safe. How were they handling things there? What would … [Read more...]

Eating Gluten Free I have found that eating gluten free on the go can be a bit challenging at times so I set out to find some quick alternatives for work lunches.  Being as lazy as I am I thought "frozen dinners".  I made a trip to our local Market Basket thinking I wouldn't find anything gluten-free but to my surprise I found a section of frozen gluten-free meals. … [Read more...]

take the work out of your next Disney vacation

Everyone who knows us knows we are HUGE Disney fans. My husband and I go to Disney World at least twice a year. One time we go with the kids and once just the two of us.  Believe it or not both trips couldn't be more different.  When I get into a conversation with someone about Disney I usually get asked "Doesn't it get boring going to the same place over and … [Read more...]

My journey to eating gluten free

gluten free cereal

I have recently gone gluten free thanks to my endocrinologist's great insight to my crazy, vague symptoms and he hit the nail on the head! After having severe abdominal pain for almost two years, taking Prilosec every day, having an endoscope with no results, and having my gall bladder removed, it was huge for me to finally get some relief. I feel so much better eating … [Read more...]

Making Your Chickens Feel At Home

July 6, 2015 by Lori Brasseur Leave a Comment

So this year we decided to start fresh with a new flock. We got 8 new chicks that were born early march which means no eggs till September-October. In preparation for them we Re-designed the inside coop to give us more storage for other projects and yard tools.  This still left plenty of room for the chickens to eat and drink inside. We built a simple ramp out of … [Read more...]
